Dr Anthony Solomon

Anthony is the Principal GP of the North Coast Medical Centre. He graduated from UNSW in 1991 and completed post graduate training in Paediatrics and General Practice.
Anthony is a Fellow of the RACGP and also Fellow of the rural arm of the RACGP, and a Fellow of the Australasian Chapter of Addiction Medicine. With over 15 years in clinical practice Anthony’s special interests are Addiction medicine, children’s medicine, Aboriginal health, and integrative General Practice.
Dr Anthony Solomon is a GP Visiting Medical Officer VMO at Riverlands Drug and Alcohol Centre in Lismore and Anthony also works at Byron Private Treatment Centre in Addiction Medicine.
Anthony is an accredited Supervisor with GP Synergy.
Dr Robert Trigger

Rob began General Practice in 1988 in Byron Bay and is a GP Visiting Medical Officer at Byron Central Hospital.
In addition to his medical qualifications Rob holds a Diploma in professional Pilates. He has an interest in musculoskeletal medicine and using real time ultrasound which can assist people in how to activate their core muscles in particular areas of the body. His other medical interests include adolescent and young people’s health care.
He has done some extra training with Family Planning Australia for insertion of intrauterine contraceptive devices (IUDs) and medical terminations of pregnancy.
Rob also works part time as a Medical Educator and is an Accredited Supervisor with GP Synergy.
Dr Elizabeth (Bettie) Honey

Bettie has consulted as a GP at North Coast Medical Centre since 2006. Her past experience in Children’s Health and Obstetrics and Gynaecology can now be combined with a new found interest in Nutritional Health, all with a commitment to whole family care. Bettie’s interest lay in sexual health and the specialty skill of IUD insertion and removal.
Dr Meera Perumalpillai-McGarry

Dr Meera McGarry is dedicated to ensuring that her patients at North Coast Medical Centre receive the best healthcare possible. Meera believes that the most important attribute a GP can offer their patients is to be a good listener. Having worked several years in regional/remote and city hospitals Meera has extensive experience with a variety of patients. An advocate for preventative medicine using lifestyle changes, Meera understands the importance of educating her patients and working alongside other health professionals to achieve optimum health outcomes. Aside from her gentle bedside manner, Meera also takes pride in her exceptional follow-up and communication to ensure patients are kept up-to-date with their current results and health status. Meera provides a unique service in the treatment of tension headaches, TMJ pain, jaw clenching and hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating) with neuromodulator injections.
Dr Elisa Gill

Elisa graduated from the University of Western Australia where she was lucky to have spent a year of her medical studies in rural Albany. Since then she has largely been based at Westmead Hospital in Sydney, including time spent working in Westmead Children’s Hospital Emergency Department.
Elisa has moved to the Northern Rivers to be closer to family and is looking forward to getting more involved in the local community. She is passionate about all aspects of health, and has a particular interest in child and adolescent health.
