Jan Campbell-Thompson has been a practicing Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist for over 20 years. During this time, she has worked with individuals and couples, using traditional psychotherapy, dream analysis, visualisation and other modalities, to help patients in exploring and understanding their life experiences. Her professional interests, practice and experience range across all areas of human suffering, including trauma in all its forms, and the myriad elements involved in the complexities of relating and relationship; concerns about attachment, loss and grief as well as the perinatal experience for pregnant and new mothers. Through a unique and loving perspective of the human condition, born of her own life experience living in all corners of the globe, Jan is able to connect with the most diverse of issues and situations through depth analysis. Jan is a clinical member of both ANZAP (Australia and NZ association of Psychotherapists) and IARPP (International Association of Relationship Psychotherapists). She is also an Associate Member of the Independent Psychoanalysis Trust/UK. Jan conducts her current practice via Skype, phone and in person. She is also available as a clinical supervisor, and has held workshops and retreats, given lectures, and taught the theory and clinical practice of Psychodynamic Psychotherapy throughout Australia.
